Bright, creamy, quietly powerful. From cookies to cakes to tiramisu—and of course, the matcha latte. While I only drink it a few times a week, this green note feels uplifting and energising. Now, it’s taken on a new form: perfume.
Milk & Matcha by Obvious Parfums captures the soft bitterness of matcha, blending it into a creamy, almost milky base. Fresh, smooth, and just a hint umami. A light lift for every day—perfect for spring, ideal for warmer months.
Obvious is a French perfume house by David Frossard, who brings a background in philosophy and years in the niche perfume world. His approach is grounded in intention: honest, well-made scents with clarity and ease. Minimal in design, thoughtful in formula, and refreshingly clear in message. Started in 2020—so they’re celebrating an anniversary.
Created by perfumer Meabh McCurtin, who pairs her scientific precision with an intuitive, elegant touch. For Milk & Matcha, she layers matcha with orange blossom, vanilla, ginger, and tonka bean. Green, soft, and gently warm—easygoing with an energetic twist.
Obvious calls it a daily optimist. A bottled ritual. And it fits. Light with presence, smooth with depth. A modern companion.
